Launched in 1992, Autozam Clef was the channel’s first 3-numbered sedan. Developed to appeal to youthful sensibilities, the Clef was probably Mazda’s most sporty and vibrant four-door sedan powered by V6 engine at the time, showcased by using smooth 3-dimensional curves to create an overall silhouette and getting rid of front grille. A unique front face with odd-shaped headlights and recessed fog lights suggested that the car had something in common with its Autozam stablemates Revue and AZ-3.
