Claiming to be based on "ten-year standard", the Eunos 800 was intended to be a clearly differentiated presence in the 21st century. Launched as a premium sedan with carefully tuned driving performance with painstaking attention to quality, the Eunos 800 delivered comfortable, silky-smooth ride feel and stable steering thanks to the newly developed multi-link suspension. To balance powerful dynamics with low fuel consumption, the car was given the world’s very first Miller Cycle engine. The Eunos 800 was renamed MILLENIA, a name used for export. Production continued for ten full years till 2003.

Since I discovered the CX-8, I began to deeply appreciate Mazda’s manufacturing philosophy.
